Vardy wins premiership golden boots

Jamie Vardy has won the Premier League Golden Boot for the first time in his career on Sunday.

Vardy who is 33 years old became the oldest player to win the award after scoring 23 goals, one goal more than second placed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Arsenal and Southampton’s Danny Ings. He started his premiership career at the age of 27.

Leicester city however failed to win in the last match against Manchester United and finished in fifth place. They will play in the Europa league next season.

Ederson Moraes of Manchester city took the Golden Glove award for the most, ahead of Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope, whose team lost 2-1 home to Brighton.
