The Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Captain Nuhu has disclose that when international flights resume in the country by August 29th, the number of arrivals into the country will be limited to 1280.
He said this at the daily briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
According to him, “we are working on the logistics and the process and how to determine the flight that would come in which would be done by tomorrow and hopefully by Monday we will get everything in place.”
He also maintained that only countries who allow our airlines in would allowed to fly into the country.
“What it means is that only airlines from countries that allow flights from Nigeria will be allowed to fly into and out of the country.”
He stated further that the requirements for resumption of flights have been shared with all airlines and the requirement of Covid-19 screening is been discussed with the health authorities.
