FG shifts date of resumption of international flights to September 5th


The Director General of Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has disclosed that International flights will now resume on 5th September as against the 29th August earlier announced.

He made the disclosure at the daily briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 in Abuja on Thursday.

Passengers returning into the country will be required to present a negative Covid-19 test result which is not older than 7 days to the expected date of arrival into the country.

This was revealed by the Coordinator, Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Dr Sanni Aliyu.

Airlines who breach this protocol will be fined $3,500 per passenger.
