An aircraft crashed shortly after take near South Sudan’s capital, Juba, killing seven of the eight people on board. The survivor is said to be in a stable condition.
“There were eight people on board, three passengers and five crew. A single person from among the passengers survived and she is in good health,” Transport Minister Madut Biar Yol told newsmen.
“The four other passengers and the three crew members are dead.”
The crew members were all Russians while the passengers were all South Sudanese.
The plane is owned by a local company, South West Aviation.
